Dochirahe!? yeah i know my japanese is icky-stupid, fuck off sir. anyways this is the page that represents my favorite Japanese horror movies. in my opinion these are the best movies ever. i mean fucking ever!! these are the kind of movies that you'd want to gather friends and watch cuz..watching the blood and guts spill in these movies..its just so cool. way better than american flicks i can tell ya that much. if you want to watch crazy hell being spread upon people, gory blood being spilled..these movies are the way to go. as far as i know, the only way to watch these movies is through Netflix or buy them on Ebay, other than that, no clue. or actually, i'm starting to see some being sold at Best Buy too. so i hope you'll like these movies as much as i do! BAI-BAI!
Suicide Club (Jisatsu Saakuru)
it begins with a blood bath down in the subway when 54 school girls jump to their death. Detective Kuroda tries desperately to find the answer. Does the J-Pop all girl band, Desert, have something to do with the mass suicide that spreads throughout the country? Is it brainwashed media tearing the people of Japan apart? Or is it because your simply not connected with yourself?
Uzumaki
In a small town, Kirie finds her boyfriends father in a alley quietly videotaping a snail. she doesn't think nothing of it, until later he becomes more and more obsessed with spirals and kills himself inside a washing machine which turns his body into a spiral. soon the entire town becomes obsessed with spirals, some turning into snails, while a school girl's hair turns into a spiraling medusa. the town is utterly possessed.
Infection (Kansen)
This takes place in a dark, isolated hospital. A body with a infection that noone knows of, comes to the hospital. the doctors refuse to take it in, since its running low on rooms, medicine, etc. the paramedics ends up leaving the body in the hallway, the staff come across it and notices the body is being eaten up by the infection, turning the healthy body into globs of green flesh. the staff goes insane and soon notices they become infected by it. one by one they each die horribly.
Inugami
Akira, a teacher from Tokyo, has just arrived in a small rural town to begin his new job. Soon after arriving, he meets, and begins to fall for, Miki, a papermaker and part of a large and unusual family. When he learns of an ancient legend that the family carries the curse of the Inugami, or Dog God, he brushes it off as silly superstition. After a series of mysterious deaths, however, the townspeople begin to grow restless, and Akira must confront the truth about Miki and her family.
Versus
There are 666 portals that connect this world to the other side. These are concealed from all human beings. Somewhere in Japan exists the 444th portal, The Forest of Resurrection. A pair of escaped convicts meet up with a group of gangsters by a remote forest road. After an arguement over a girl the mobsters have kidnapped, shots are fired and one of the gangsters is killed. The standoff is cut short, however, when the dead man suddenly springs to life and starts trying to kill his former friends. The zombie eventually goes down in a hail bullets, but their problems aren't over. It seems the gangsters have been using this forest to dispose of of their victims, all of whom are now looking to settle some old scores. Even if they get through this mess, there is still the question of why they've arranged to meet the convicts out here, and why they've brought along the girl. How are they connected to the dead bodies coming back to life?
Ju-on
Jealous of his wifes love for another man, a teacher from her high school, a man brutally kills his wife and young son. Searching for the son who has missed a lot of school, the teacher enters their house, only to find the dead ghost of his mother, and consequently has a heart attack and becomes a ghost himself. The story goes on to tell of the new tenants of the house and what they experience, and an investigation by two police officers into why so many people are dissapearing.
